Biography
Kunle is Popolar Nigerian Politician. He was the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-isheri Local Council from 2003 to 2011. According to Soname, his desire to invest in sports and betting was nursed during his time as a chairman. He realsed sports was able to help curb violence and also provide employment for most youth.
Mr. Soname holds a degree in Political Science from the Lagos State University where he graduated in 1996.
Business Career
Kunle Soname founded bet9ja, a sports betting website in 2013. Before that he founded Remo Stars Football Club previously known as FC DENDER was founded by Soname in 2004.
The club was then relocated from Lagos State to Remo area of Ogun State, and is now playing in the Nigerian Premier League’s Top Division.
He is also the first Nigerian to acquire a European club C.D. Feirense which he bought in 2015.
