Kourtney Mary Kardashian was born into the popular family of Kris Jenner and Robert Kardashian, on April 18,1979 on Los Angeles, California. She schooled at Marymount High School in Los Angeles after which she went on to attend Southern Methodist University for two years after which relocated to Arizona. It was at the University of Arizona that she graduated from as a Bachelor’s Degree holder in Theatre Arts.
Career
Prior to her family’s reality show, Kourtney had previously started in the popular TV series Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive in 2005. She was later catapulted to prominence after a s*xtape which was made by her younger sister Kim Kardashian, was leaked in 2007.
Kourtney Kardashian was later Commissioned, along with her siblings to star in the family’s famous reality show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” which has become one of the longest Reality Shows in the world.
Apart from featuring in reality TV shows, Kourtney also collaborated with her mother Kris Jenner to set up a boutique for children’s clothing which they named Smooch, in Los Angeles and New York City. The brand name for the boutiques is Crib Rock Couture. She also co-founded another clothing line in Los Angeles, together with her sisters Khloe and Kim. The name of the clothing line is D-A-S-H, and UT has branches in New York and Miami.
She has also established several clothing lines in addition to the ones mentioned earlier. In 2012 she starred in the ABC soap opera, Life to Live where she played the character of attorney Kassandra Kayanaugh. Kourtney and her two sisters Kim and Khloe served as promoters of Quick Trim, a diet supplement for weight loss. This resulted to their being fined $5 million along with the company.
